Luke 6:37-38

37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

God works through you. He has called you to do great things and to represent Him here on earth. The best way to represent Him is to start by cleaning up your thoughts. Thoughts about yourself and thoughts about others. Fill your mind with positive word tracks. Don’t limit yourself with I should or should haves. Focus on the thoughts that cross your mind. Is your mind at war with itself? Are your thoughts uplifting or imprisoning? Are you using your thoughts to feel sorry for yourself? Is your mind overthinking and under praising? What do you think about others? Are you judging them? Are you assuming what they think and feel about you?

Question your thoughts. Are they true? Question your intentions? Are they spirit based or human based? The enemy wants to divide God’s people. He wants you to focus on your differences and wants you to believe you are better than others. He divides God’s people by trying to get them to believe it is their job to judge and fix others. There is a fine line between serving God and getting into God’s business. The enemy wants you to play God not serve Him.

Do you get into God’s business? God’s plan and timing for others is His plan. Be careful not to get in the way of Him moving a mountain in someone else’s life. You may think you are doing what is best for that person. You want to prevent pain but helping them may divert the journey God has them on. When you love someone, you forgive and pray for them. Forgiveness releases them from the prison of your mind. What you cannot do is carry their burden. They must figure it out on their own. God is there to help them. You don’t know God’s plan or the earthly destination He is preparing others for. What you do know is that God’s intent is for them to know Him, feel His love and invite Him to be part of their life.

God asks you to love. It isn’t easy to love everyone. But you don’t have to love their behavior, their human experience. Love their spiritual being. You don’t have to approve or accept the difficult human experience they are having. But you can look beyond that and accept the spiritual being they are. You are connected as spiritual beings. Your spiritual being can have compassion and understanding for theirs. You struggle with your human experience so surely you can understand the difficulties others have. Their spiritual being is one with the Father just like yours is. You do not walk alone. You walk together as children of God. See Christ in them. Connect there. Pray for their human experience.

The enemy is a master manipulator. He will try to use you to block God’s work in other people . When you operate from your human experience and disconnect from your spiritual being it is easy for the enemy to use you. It is easy for him to convince you that you are superior in thought and deed and that you know what is best for others. Check yourself! Who are you listening to?

God asks you to love. The enemy asks you to hate.

God asks you to forgive. The enemy asks you to judge.

Gods asks you to be compassionate. The enemy asks you to be cold-hearted.

God asks you to praise. The enemy asks you to scorn.

God asks you to be patient. The enemy asks you to be pushy.

God asks you to wait. The enemy asks you to step in and take over.

God asks you to focus on the positive. The enemy asks you to focus what could go wrong.

God asks you to have faith. The enemy asks you to fear.

God asks you to accept all as His own. The enemy wants you to believe not everyone belongs.

God asks you to let go of the past. The enemy asks you to replay the past and figure out how you could have done better.

Prayer

Dear Father God,

Thank you for opening my heart. Thank you for the close relationship we share. Forgive me for the times I fail to do what you ask. Forgive me for asking why? May I be led by Your Spirit and not my human experience. May I be content with doing what you call me to do. May I recognize the spiritual beings others are, love them where they are at, and not try to fix them. You are the Master Healer. You lead. I will stay in my own business and follow.

In Jesus name,

Amen
