I don’t praise myself enough and often devalue my gifts and talents. Sometimes they astonish me and at other times they are just not enough. But then again, I am looking at myself through a stranger’s eyes. For if I truly saw myself for who I am I would see a glowing beauty that lights up a room upon entry. I would realize what a
treasure I am.
One of the hardest things in life to do is grow up. As children we have the security of the unknown. As adults we must face the fear of reality. Our parents were given a life-long responsibility which was to prepare us for society, introduce us to faith, and help us, to the best of their knowledge, face the realities of life.
They were our first link to the world. Their thoughts and actions help shape our views and the life that lay ahead of us. We must now ask ourselves if these are the views we wish to possess. It is time to stop and evaluate who we are.
Do we see life as a celebration? Did our parents open windows of hope for us through which war are not afraid to dream? It is time to start the journey back to the Potter. It is time to return to where we began. By putting our lives in Christ’s hands we become healed, innocence is found, and life becomes a celebration.
Now before you is a book for of pages with words. Not just any words but words that when put together will help you grow as a child of God. To grow there must be change. Change is painful and is not an easy task but it is the only way to find and release the beauty that lies within. With a lot of prayer and an open mind I believe you will find the needed strength and guidance.
Before you go any further, before you read another page, I ask you to take a moment and pray. Ask God to open your mind and heart.
Now let’s begin the journey together. The journey to save a dying race…the race of innocence.
