Dear Judas

Dear Judas,

Judas, my friend, my betrayer, my very own, oh how My heart aches as I look out from these prison bars in question of your intention. Did you intend to send Me to My death? Did you plot deceiving Me for a handful of silver that will only choke the life out of you? Perhaps you did but I don’t believe you knew the full extent of your actions. For now, the bars which you have built around yourself make a far lonelier prison than the ones I sit behind. I may be lonely, but I am not alone.

Sweet Judas, the path you chose did not destroy Your beloved friend but yourself. You still see Me in you and can’t escape the truth that My crucifixion has brought your own. But I shall rise. I shall forgive, and you, with a simple question shall be set free. All that needs to be said is forgive me and it shall be done.

My heart aches for we laughed, prayed, worked and loved together. I march to My death because I love you. Remember that My brother. My love is unconditional. You shall not be the last to turn your back on Me and betray My love. Many will follow and do the same. Each will learn, as you will, that My walk to the cross was for them. I shall grieve but they will ache. For they like you, Judas, love Me and long to be close to Me. You turn away out of fear and lack of understanding. All I can do is wait and then forgive.

Don’t misunderstand Me for My heart does break. My love for you can’t be explained. My children are My everything and for that reason My back will never be turned against you. I must go now and pray for My heart is heavy and I long to be close to our Father.

With much love,

Christ
