Energy

Your Love Is Moving

Galatians 5:22-23

But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

Who do you let spill out from you? Who greets those you meet? Are you greeting people with fresh eyes or assumptions? Are you greeting them with fear or love? Are you trying to protect yourself from hurt? Do you see them as a weapon? Are you on guard? What will they throw your way? Are you meeting their defensiveness with your own?

If all your energy is being used to not let them get the best of you, perhaps you are not showing the best of you. You are leaning on misconceptions and fear. You are greeting their humanness and not their spirit. You are expecting to converse with the enemy and not Christ. What attacking words are you expecting?

Allow The spirit in you to recognize the spirit in them. Allow the spirit in you to step forward and deal with the humanness of critical comments, harsh accusations, or maybe even obvious dislike. God will guide you through these difficult moments with difficult people. When you are around them you may feel a heaviness. It is like a pressure on your chest. This is their negative energy. It drives them and is trying to drive you. It cuts through them and it is trying to cut through you. It is powerful. The source of it all is the enemy.

Your source needs to be always God. That energy is living and light. It is sweet and warm. Don’t be consumed by the negative energy that the enemy pulls through others to get to you. Many people are sleep walking and unaware. They are not tuned into the presence of God. The closer your relationship grows with God the more sensitive you become to negative energy. You will feel it when you are around other people, when watching television, or in any situation that’s goal is not love and peace.

Consider it a blessing that you have this sensitivity. It is your radar. You can feel it before you interact with someone and ready yourself. You are learning. You are being prepared. You understand the gentleness of God and it effects your own spirit. You have become calmer, more understanding, and crave time with the Father. Now it is time to really learn how to tap into the Holy Spirit in these tough situations. The enemy wants you to lose ground. You are not going to go there. You will armor yourself with God’s love and remain moving forward and remain in His presence.

You have made much progress. The enemy wants you to retreat, fail and go no further. As you grow in Christ be aware the enemy will rev up his tactics. Immerse yourself in God’s word. Pray daily but also schedule time away to sit in His presence and to sit in His silence. Be wise with your energy. Protect it. Protect your peace. You want your peace to flow out of you naturally and not be drained from you.

Namaste. Recognize the spirit in others. Remain with your source, God. Grow towards the light.

Prayer

Father God,

Thank you for the sensitivity to recognize heavy energy so I can prepare myself for interacting with others. Thank you for being my armor. Forgive me for the times I choose to go toward the negative energy and contribute to it. Forgive me for putting my energy into assumptions and not seeing people for who they are today. Help me to enter situations being aware of your presence. Help me to see the spirit in others and hold on to a peaceful energy. Show me how to set up boundaries that are a benefit to our relationship. Being loving and kind to others does not mean I don’t speak my truth, respect myself, and allow unkind behavior. I must always be loving and kind to myself first in order to maintain a peaceful energy. May I always ask you what to do, lean in, listen for Your answer and follow.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen
