Fearless

Fearless

1 Corinthians 16:13

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

When you rely completely on God His love makes you fearless. You know that no matter what God is in control and will take care of you. In the good times and the bad He is present. God’s love helps you face mountains. God’s love shows you who you are. No matter what your past looked like or how much you have stumbled God has and does always love you. He sees you as perfect, enough, and absolutely beautiful.

Lean on God’s vision of you. God sees you with a pure love. Humans see you through their own pain, their past and their struggles. They aren’t seeing you completely. They aren’t reacting to you or who you are. They are reacting to themselves. You cannot build your identity on how others see you or treat you. Your foundation must come from God. Let God go before you. Let His love guide you.

The enemy will convince you that your worth is based on what others think. He wants you to believe they know more than you and God. If they don’t approve of you, aren’t nice to you, or appreciate you, than you are worthless. The enemy works hard to knock you down. He will use anyone to help him do so. He uses strangers, your children, spouse and even parents. Recognize the enemy at work. Be a force against him. Partner with your children, spouse and parents to pray against the enemy. You are continually under attack. Recognize it and armor yourself. Do not let the enemy create a huge mess in your life.

Turn to God for everything. You are God’s creation. Let God continue to work in you, so you can become all you were meant to be. Do not let others have that power to create who you are. God’s love will give you the patience and strength to face the mountain, while He works to move the mountain. God’s strength gives you the power to stand up for what is right and good. God’s presence gives you the ability to be brave, to be fearless.

Commit to being fearless. Stop questioning God, be thankful, and let go. You are strong. Be fearless even when you don’t feel like it. In moments when you feel like you can’t face your mountains call on your Father. A simple whisper of His name is enough. Know God gives you all you need. Have faith. He’s got this even when it doesn’t seem like it. Push through your doubts and embrace the power of God.

Prayer

Dear Father,

Thank You for believing in me when I don't believe in myself. Thank You for working to move mountains even when I don't trust that they can be moved. Forgive me for the times I turn away and doubt You. Forgive me for constantly questioning You. Help me to be fearless. Help me to stand firm in faith and know You are here. May I see myself through You and not build a view of myself based on what others think or how they treat me. May I seek You in every situation and in every person.

In Jesus' name,

Amen
