Good Father

Updated: Aug 8, 2018

Psalm 30:1 NLT

I will exalt you, Lord, for you rescued me.

You refused to let my enemies’ triumph over me.

Do you recognize the prayers God has answered for you? They may be small prayers, or they may be large prayers that have been answered by blessings overtime. God may have been working for some time to bring you to this spot. A lot went into getting you here. Can you look back and see how it happened? Can you look back and recognize moments that you thought were a disaster, He used as part of His bigger plan.

The present may not always be what you expected or thought you wanted but if you stop and sit in silence with God, you may find this present is working for you. God can bring good out of everything. He is always present and always for you. Love where you are at. There will be rough days. Not everyday will be easy. When it gets hard ask yourself “What am I trying to carry on my own?” You are not meant to do this alone. God is your Father. He is there to be leaned on. Call on Him to give you rest. Today may not be a day of triumph, but it is part of a moment of triumph which God is building for you. Don't judge His plan. He is a good Father with a good plan. Accept it and exalt Him. God is the answer, the only answer. Ground the core of your being in your Father.

Prayer

Dear Father God,

Thank You for the many blessings that build up to moments of triumph. Thank You for working good out of difficult moments and gently guiding me on this journey. I may not understand Your reasons, but I trust You have a good plan and are always working to bless me. Forgive me for the moments I judge your plan and question Your intentions. Help me to constantly turn to you and to remember that I am never alone. You are always present.

In Jesus name

Amen
