Sing Alleluia

Only Wanna Sing

Psalm 16:11

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

You know God exists. You are sure of it. But you are beginning to believe He just doesn’t like you. You pray, praise, proclaim that He is working for you and has a great plan, but you are getting weary. You are tired and wonder what else do you need to learn? Life is a journey full of lessons, but relief would be nice right? Hold tight. The storm is fierce. Relief is coming. You are in a dark hour, a time when it is hardest to believe in the light. Continue to look up. Continue to believe. You aren’t hated by God. He loves you so much. He is pulling you toward the light. He is beside you. He is enlightening you.

The enemy would like nothing more than to have you believe in God, but believe God hates you and that He is working against you. He wants you to believe something is so wrong with you that not even God likes you. The enemy wants you to be frustrated with God and question Him. His goal is to build mistrust. You won’t turn to someone you can’t trust. The enemy will magnify what has gone wrong and hope you don’t recognize all that is going right.

Question these thoughts when they fill your head. They aren’t true. When you are being bombarded with negative thoughts this is the time to take more moments by yourself. Don’t just survive, thrive. You thrive by taking care of you and not giving up. God is working on, not only shedding some light on some big truths, but helping you to accept those truths. This can be painful. This questions things you thought to be safe and reliable. You are seeing things differently and it is uncomfortable. In the discomfort find comfort in God. Lean on Him. Allow yourself to feel all the emotions. Share them with Him. You will get through this.

God pulls good out of everything. He is bringing you an Alleluia, in His time. Trust in God. Trust there is a purpose to the process and His timing. When you feel like you have reached the end of your rope remind yourself how very much your Father loves you. Pause and proclaim that He is working for your good, praise His name and all He has already done for you. Sing your Alleluia. God adores you!

Prayer

Father God,

Thank You for loving me. Thank You for all you bring into my life. You are an awesome God that has a wonderful plan for me. It unfolds daily. Forgive me for the days I think You are out to get me or have just forgotten me. Forgive me for questioning You. You have a plan and a reason for that plan. May I simply trust You and believe You are working on an Alleluia. I get worn and forget to focus on all You have already done and all the day to day blessings. May I wake each morning and focus on trusting You. May I remember to Pause, Proclaim and Praise. May I sing Alleluia!

In Jesus' name,

Amen
